At Oxford The Global School, we prepare our students for academic excellence through participation in various competitive exams. These exams help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and prepare them for future academic challenges.
SAAS (Scholarship Assessment for Advanced Studies)
Conducted by the school, SAAS is a scholarship test that evaluates students' academic potential across multiple subjects. This assessment helps identify gifted students for scholarship opportunities.
OMAT - Oxford Magmus Aptitude Test
An in-school aptitude test organized by the school to assess students' logical reasoning, mathematical ability, and critical thinking skills. OMAT results help inform educational pathways and identify areas for growth.
NASO (National Astronomy and Science Olympiad)
A science competition with a special focus on Astronomy, encouraging students to explore space science, astrophysics, and scientific research. NASO promotes interest in space exploration and scientific discovery.
IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad)
A prestigious math competition that tests students' logical reasoning, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills. The IMO helps build a strong foundation in Mathematics and promotes analytical thinking.
NSO (National Science Olympiad)
A nationwide competition that tests students' knowledge of scientific concepts, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking. The exam focuses on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science, encouraging students to apply scientific principles to real-world problems.
ISSO (International Social Studies Olympiad)
A test that assesses students' understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. ISSO encourages awareness of social, political, and cultural developments at both national and international levels.
ICSO (International Computer Science Olympiad)
A competitive exam focusing on Computer Science fundamentals, including programming logic, IT concepts, and digital literacy. ICSO aims to nurture tech-savvy students prepared for the digital age.
IHO (International Hindi Olympiad)
A language-based competition that evaluates students' proficiency in Hindi, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and usage. IHO encourages a deeper connection with the Hindi language and promotes linguistic confidence.
Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition
A science talent search examination conducted to promote scientific attitude and experimental skills. The multi-stage competition includes written tests and practical examinations to identify and encourage young science talent.
Maharashtra Scholarship Exams (Class 5 & 8)
State-level scholarship examinations for 5th and 8th-grade students in Maharashtra. These exams evaluate language, math, and analytical skills, offering financial aid to meritorious students and encouraging academic excellence.
